“The Bridge” Redesign
The Bridge is an online publication that highlights the creative works of women of color and is managed by students at UNC-Chapel Hill and Duke University. When I took MEJO 581: User Experience Design and Usability in Fall 2020, my final assignment was to redesign a website. Having some knowledge about The Bridge and supporting their mission, I decided to take a deeper look into the website. During my time working on this project, I identified various usability issues on the site, conducted usability tests, put together an audience analysis, and finally made a prototype of the site’s redesign.
